Security Search & Consulting (SS&C) was founded in 1994 and is a boutique recruiting agency that is privately held and owned/operated.

Rooted in Physical Security to include IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion and Fire Technologies, our areas of recruitment expertise have grown to include Cyber Security, Private Equity, Audio Visual, Unified Communications, Digital Signage, Biometrics, Enterprise Software, Storage, Electrical/Mechanical Contracting and Building Automation Solutions.

SS&C leverages an impressive database of information and network of talent and clientele to deliver unparalleled results across multiple industries within Technology.

Mr. Vona holds a Masters Degree in Business having attended the Presidential / Key Executive program at Pepperdine University & focuses most of his attention on Senior Level Placements, and Webinar Training for identifying High Performance Candidates.

Joseph Vona, Jr. is the Vice President of Business Development with attention to C- and VP-Level placements on a global basis. Mr. Vona joined the company in 2000 after receiving his degree in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at USC.

Joe Crowe is our Vice President and has been with the company since 1999. He has a background in Building Controls, where he held Facility Engineering positions and has an English Degree from Cal State University, Northridge.

Director of Recruiting

Timothy McCarthy is a seasoned recruiter with over a decade of experience in the industry. He currently serves as the Director of Southern US & Mid Atlantic Recruiting for SS&C, leading a team of recruiters, and is responsible for attracting and retaining top talent across the region.
